It's not that well-known, but back in his hell-raising Academy days, Captain James T. Kirk would sometimes sing lead with the house band at the Saturday night jam sessions over at the Starfleet Academy Student Union Cafe. Well, singing wasn't exactly what he would do, but boy, could he rock the house!
